The Cassidy Brothers book 4 in Sienna Blake's bestselling Quick & Dirty series!
Warning: Don't read this novel if you can't handle three Irish hotties fighting for their woman, fierce brotherly competition, and each laying claim to their woman in their own way.

My foster father is a very bad man. I’m carrying a secret of his that could get me killed. So I head to the last place that ever felt like safety…

The childhood home of the Cassidy brothers.

Aogán, Tristan & Donncha were as much of my childhood as choc chip cookies and hopskotch. We used to roam like wildlings around their large country estate. I haven’t seen them since the accident that made me an orphan three years ago.

Boy, have they grown up. Tall, dark haired and eyes like the Galway Sea, with shoulders broad enough to keep me safe. Just like when we were kids, they shelter me. Care for me… Love me.

But how will they feel when they find out I'm in love with all of them? How will they deal with the terrible secret I’m carrying?

My Review

Who wouldn't want to have their cake and eat it, especially if said cake was actually three very sexy brothers? Although Orla has had a very rough time in the last three years, all her dreams seem to be coming true when she returns to her home time and finds herself romantically involved with not just one boy next door, but all three of them.
These quick and dirty reads are a lot of fun. I don't think I could really see three brothers agreeing to share one woman, but for the purpose of a bit of escapism, why not. All three of the brothers have different personalities and this is why Orla wants all three and finds it hard to choose, they all offer something different.
This was a quick fun read, great if you want to escape for a bit.

Magnetic - Anya J Cosgrove

Who said life was a fairy tale? Because I’d gladly slice that jerk’s head off.
I’m Vicky, though that’s not really my name.
Magnetic by Anya J CosgroveI never expected to end up half-naked in the woods with my guts hanging out. I didn’t plan to stumble upon the most powerful shifter clan in North America and three of the sexiest men I’ve ever laid eyes on.
Dominic, the fun and reckless new wolf.
Sam, the hot doctor with glacial-blue eyes.
And Gabriel, the intense, secretive alpha who wants nothing to do with me.
My real name is a one-way ticket back to hell, and my secrets need to stay buried like the girl I used to be.
Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Red Riding Hood—I can be all three.  I can use my powers to earn a place in their werewolf town, away from the bite of my past mistakes. I can use them—and their bodies—to survive.
The only thing I can’t do is fall for them.

My Review

Having read and loved the bloody hearts trilogy, I couldn't wait to read Anya J Cosgroves next book, magnetic. This is set in the same world and features Vicky, who was a minor character in that series. I was interested to see how Vicky's character would develop, as to be perfectly honest, I wasn't that keen on her. Fortunately, I wasn't disappointed, either in the way that this story was told or Vicky herself.

There's a lot going on in this book, with the story of Vicky's past coming out alongside her present situation with the three werewolves that she finds herself living with. Seeing things from Vicky's point of view certainly helped me to relate to and sympathise with her.

This is a reverse harem romance, so there are not one, but three male leads. That said, they, all being different, have different roles to play and we see more of Sam and Dom than we do Gabriel. In fact, most of the action takes place between Vicky, Dom and Sam until later in the book.

If I had to find a small fault with this story, it would be that for me, it was all over a little bit too quickly. That's partly because I greedily read it all as soon as I could, but also because I think I'd been a bit spoilt with the last books being a trilogy. Even so, this was a really enjoyable read. I think that there might be more to come from this small community of werewolves and certainly hopefully from this world. I'm certainly looking forward to reading more books from Anya.

The Stars in Her Eyes - C.M. Albert

The Stars in Her Eyes
C.M. Albert
(Love in LA Quartet, #1)
Publication date: March 26th 2019
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Reverse Harem, Romance
Love in LA just got a whole lot hotter!
One woman. Three men. Some things are best kept secret.
“Hands down the best reverse harem I’ve ever read!” Goodreads Reviewer M. Simmons
When Creslyn Knight auditions for the role of a life time, she never expects three things:
1. To know the casting director—intimately.
2. To be insanely attracted to the three stand-in actors at the audition.
3. That she’d soon be putting her morals to the test when her resolve weakens.
Acting is in Creslyn’s blood, and she’s focused her sights on one thing: landing the role of a lifetime. But she’s always been told that everything comes at a cost. The casting director names his when he tells her she must make him believe she can surrender to a harem of men, or he can’t justify giving her the lead role.
Determined to prove him wrong and show him she can tap into a passion that deep, Creslyn throws herself into rehearsals. But the fine line between script and reality soon starts to blur, leading her and three men into unchartered territory. The only problem? She has a jealous roommate, a disgruntled mother, and a string of paparazzi hot on her trail, making Creslyn question the cost of everything.
In a world where some things are best kept secret, is the price of fame too high when it comes to the heart?
The Stars in Her Eyes is book one of the Love in LA Quartet and is a new adult, steamy contemporary romance reverse harem LOVE STORY that can be read as a stand-alone or as an introduction to the series. All the heat you’ve come to expect with a reverse harem, AND a storyline worthy of a contemporary romance love story. Finally, the best of both worlds!
On sale for $2.99 for a limited time!

My Review

While this book was billed as a reverse harem, personally, I felt that it was something a little bit different to that. Yes, there were plenty of scenes involving our lead character and two or three of the men that she was interested in. Unlike most reverse harem books, this one led to a final couple, with the other men that she had been interested in left as just friends. The storyline dealt not only with the relationships between all four of the main characters (and a couple of other male characters as well) and there was plenty of jealousy and questioning of how people felt, as well as acceptance for what was happening.

The main character, Creslyn, could do no wrong and it seemed that everyone, whether they be part of her temporary harem, or otherwise, seemed to think that she was perfect. I'm not entirely sure why, but I supposed that it was needed for the storyline. Certainly, everyone seemed to be very hung up on her, which was one of the reasons she seemed so torn between the various men on offer.

This was an enjoyable read. It's not quite what I was expecting, but once I'd realised where it was going, I was happy with that.
